Position Summary:
The Senior Accountant will primarily be responsible for managing accounts receivable operations, taxation compliance, and payroll processing for the Saudi Arabia operations. The role will ensure timely collections, accurate invoicing, compliance with Saudi financial and tax regulations, and efficient handling of payroll and financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) operations, including invoicing, payment follow-ups, customer account reconciliations, and collection tracking.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure timely recovery and accurate financial records.
- Prepare customer statements, aging reports, and receivable status reports for management review.
- Ensure accurate processing and recording of receipts, collections, and customer payments. Handle Saudi taxation-related matters, including VAT documentation, reconciliations, filings coordination, and compliance with ZATCA requirements.
- Maintain proper tax records, supporting documents, and audit-ready financial documentation.
- Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and finance stakeholders regarding taxation and compliance matters.
- Manage monthly Saudi payroll processing in coordination with HR and management, ensuring accuracy, approvals, and confidentiality.
- Maintain payroll records, including salary sheets, allowances, deductions, leave records, and employee-related financial documentation.
- Assist in monthly closing activities, reconciliations, and preparation of financial reports.
- Maintain accurate accounting entries and supporting documentation in accounting systems.
- Support implementation and monitoring of internal financial controls and compliance procedures.
- Coordinate with banks, vendors, and internal departments for finance and payroll-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Saudi labor regulations, and applicable financial procedures.
- Assist management in improving financial reporting accuracy, receivable tracking, and operational efficiency.
- Perform other finance and accounting-related duties assigned by management within the scope of the role.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Taxation, and Payroll.
- Strong understanding of Saudi VAT regulations and payroll practices.
- Experience with accounting/payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of ZATCA compliance requirements preferred.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- English proficiency required; Arabic language skills will be an added advantage.
