About the Job:
Job Summary:
The HR Assistant Manager supports the HR Manager in managing daily human resource operations, implementing HR policies, and ensuring smooth coordination across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The role acts as a bridge between management and employees to promote a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Staffing:
- Assist in manpower planning and recruitment processes.
- Coordinate job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Maintain recruitment records and candidate databases.
Employee Relations:
- Address employee queries related to HR policies and procedures.
- Support grievance handling and disciplinary processes.
- Promote employee engagement and workplace harmony.
HR Operations:
- Maintain employee records, HR files, and HRIS data.
- Assist in attendance, leave, and payroll coordination.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
Performance Management & Training:
- Support performance appraisal cycles.
- Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating training programs.
- Track training records and employee development plans.
Compliance & Policies:
- Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company regulations.
- Support HR audits and statutory documentation.
Reporting:
- Prepare HR reports, MIS, and presentations for management.
- Analyze HR data to support decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
3–6 years of experience in HR operations or generalist roles.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
