ROLE SUMMARY & PURPOSE
The Manager, Investigations & 3PRM™ is a mid-to-senior operational leadership role within Corporate Research and Investigations Limited (CRI Group™), responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of investigative and third-party risk management services from the Pakistan office. The position holder ensures that all case work is executed to the highest standards of quality, timeliness, and confidentiality, while maintaining strong client relationships and driving continuous operational improvement.
The Manager serves as the primary operational interface between clients, the investigative team, and senior leadership. This role requires a blend of investigative expertise, people management capability, client relationship skills, and operational discipline. The Manager is expected to lead by example, develop team members, uphold CRI Group™’s standards and values, and actively contribute to the growth and reputation of the department.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
4Client Relationship & Account Management
1. Serve as the primary operational point of contact for assigned client accounts, managing day-to-day communication and ensuring service continuity.
2. Welcome and onboard new clients into the Investigations & 3PRM™ function, ensuring a smooth and professional transition.
3. Manage client expectations, ensuring adherence to agreed service level agreements (SLAs), scope of work, and quality commitments at all times.
4. Respond to client queries, concerns, and escalations in a professional, timely, and solution-focused manner.
5. Conduct regular client engagement meetings and quarterly operational review sessions to strengthen relationships, address issues proactively, and improve client retention.
6. Review client feedback and implement corrective and preventive actions to drive continual operational improvement.
7. Coordinate with internal stakeholders across CRI Group™ to ensure integrated, high-quality client servicing and consistent operational support.
8. Support the preparation of technical and operational presentations for client onboarding meetings, proposal discussions, and review sessions.
Operations Management & Service Delivery
9. Oversee day-to-day investigative operations to ensure cases are completed accurately, confidentially, and within agreed timelines.
10. Manage daily case allocation and resource planning to ensure efficient workload distribution, operational continuity, and alignment with SLA and productivity targets.
11. Monitor operational KPIs including turnaround time (TAT), SLA compliance, workload distribution, productivity metrics, and quality indicators.
12. Ensure all investigative reports meet CRI Group™’s quality standards, operational guidelines, and specific client requirements prior to delivery.
13. Review operational dashboards and management reports to identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
14. Produce accurate and data-supported monthly and quarterly operational performance reports for review by the Head of Investigations & 3PRM™.
15. Ensure all operational activities are conducted through approved systems, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and governance frameworks.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
16. Implement and maintain quality assurance controls across all investigative and 3PRM™ operations and reporting processes.
17. Monitor team compliance with internal SOPs, client-specific requirements, data protection obligations, and information security standards.
18. Ensure the confidential and secure handling of all client information, case records, and sensitive operational data at all times.
19. Coordinate with Compliance and Information Security teams on operational compliance matters, audit readiness, and timely incident reporting.
20. Support operational readiness for ISO/IEC 27001 ISMS certification, ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management Systems, and other applicable governance or accreditation requirements.
21. Ensure ISMS policies and procedures are understood and followed by all team members; identify and report information security risks through formal risk assessment processes.
22. Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of classified information in accordance with CRI Group™’s information classification policy.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
23. Lead, supervise, and support all team members within the Investigations & 3PRM™ function to ensure operational effectiveness, accountability, and professional conduct.
24. Evaluate individual and team performance against agreed KPIs and operational targets on a regular and structured basis.
25. Identify competency gaps within the team and develop targeted improvement plans in coordination with HR and the Head of Investigations & 3PRM™.
26. Conduct periodic performance review sessions, one-to-one feedback meetings, and annual appraisals to support individual development.
27. Lead the onboarding and technical induction of new team members, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and support required to perform effectively.
28. Identify training needs and recommend development initiatives to strengthen investigative, analytical, and operational capabilities across the team.
29. Foster a positive, collaborative, inclusive, and performance-driven working environment aligned with CRI Group™’s values.
30. Disseminate new or revised policies, procedures, and operational guidance to team members promptly and accurately.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
31. Continuously identify opportunities for operational improvement, workflow optimisation, and process standardisation within the department.
32. Utilise technological tools, investigative platforms, and data systems to improve operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and case management effectiveness.
33. Support CRI Group™ initiatives related to AI-enabled operations, system enhancement, and digital transformation of investigative processes.
34. Expand and strengthen operational databases, OSINT and HUMINT resources, and research methodologies to improve investigative capabilities.
35. Develop and present recommendations for standardisation, governance, and continuous improvement to the Head of Investigations & 3PRM™.
Vendor & External Coordination
36. Develop and maintain professional working relationships with external vendors, verification sources, government agencies, and relevant third parties.
37. Monitor vendor performance and coordinate operational delivery with external service providers to ensure quality and reliability.
38. Assist in evaluating and reviewing external service providers to ensure alignment with CRI Group™’s standards, operational requirements, and cost objectives.
Organisational & General Responsibilities
39. Strictly implement and adhere to CRI Group™ operational, HR, compliance, and company-wide policies at all times.
40. Follow current ISO standards, policies, and procedures applicable to the Investigations & 3PRM™ function.
41. Demonstrate sound professional judgement and a commitment to CRI Group™’s vision, mission, and organisational values.
42. Carry out any additional tasks or assignments as directed by the Head of Investigations & 3PRM™ or senior management, consistent with the responsibilities of this role.
